During June 2023 the Van Leeuwen Group purchased a New UNIA Cross HP-5 metre cultivator to use behind a Valtra S-324 tractor.

For their large in barn dairy herd the feed requirement includes growing 490 hectares of maize.

Aad Van Leeuwen says –

“The UNIA Cross cultivator has performed exceptionally well during this first season. It is very flexible. We run It with tyne point and wing combination (full movement of soil profile in one pass) or points only depending on soil condition. The double U rollers on the rear leave a firm even seed bed for planting because of the considerable machine weight the rollers are carrying. The use of our power harrow has been reduced by 90% this season giving us a large fuel saving.”
